With the new Rufix stair pot, wooden and steel steps can be installed between two walls or wooden walls with reinforced planking and wall spacing. The big advantage is the ability to replace steps at any time. As a result, construction steps are possible, which guarantee immediate access and allow the selection of materials for the steps shortly before moving into the house.
variant A
You order a staircase from us according to your dimensions.
We plan your staircase with the desired wall distance and provide you with a drilling template in 19 mm three-layer board with 16 mm drill holes for the exact positioning of the support bolts. We can provide you with either the shell step and/or the finished step with the milled drill holes for the RUFIX® stair pot.
On the construction site, mount the drilling template onto the raw or raw plastered masonry and drill the 16 mm holes 90 mm deep into the masonry. The holes are sucked out with the vacuum cleaner.
If you install on finished plastered masonry, we recommend that you drill the plaster with a 25 mm drill to make room for the collar of the sieve sleeve so that you can vary the distance from the wall sufficiently. In this case, the borehole that is too large is covered with a cover rosette, e.g. CNS 3/13/37 mm.
Now start assembling the top step by inserting four sieve sleeves left and right into the masonry and filling them with PU adhesive. You then press the bolts with the screwed-on pots into the adhesive.
Now place the top step on the pots and press the pots, which are still slightly movable thanks to the still soft PU adhesive, into the milled recesses. Finally, check the distance left and right from the wall and push the step in the middle so that the wall is evenly spaced. Repeat the work as described above for the next steps.
It is important that the stairs are not walked on during installation until the adhesive hardens (approx. 48 hours). That is why stair installation must start from above. Thanks to the use of elastic PU adhesive, the stairs feel very comfortable when walking on.
We hope you enjoy the installation and the client will enjoy using this very lightweight staircase!
variant B
You plan your stairs yourself and only order the hardware kit from us.
You create an M 1:1 floor plan on the drawing floor, plan the necessary distance from the wall, and place the RUFIX® pots on the floor plan. You use them to create the cheek stencils in paper and transfer the pots to the cheek stencils.
You plan your stairs yourself and order them or you plan your stairs using a stair program and print out the cheek templates. The paper template can be glued to a plate. Assembly on the construction site is analogous to the assembly letter a.Only our set of fittings.
Make the steps: You place the steps on the M 1:1 floor plan and tear them to exact dimensions, including the holes for the RUFIX® stair pots. After cutting the steps, these holes can be drilled to an exact depth using the 30 mm knothole drill on a column drill. The 12 mm bolt must then be cut out.
If you first make a construction staircase, make sure that the hole is exactly in the same place because the RUFIX® pot has a diameter of 29 mm and is drilled at 30 mm!
Thanks to the use of elastic PU adhesive, the stairs feel very comfortable when walking on.
We hope you enjoy making and assembling this very lightweight staircase, and the client will enjoy using this very lightweight staircase!
Based on the Federal Council Ordinance on the Declaration of Wood Products of June 4, 2010, supplemented by the Federal Department of Economic Affairs (EDV) dated June 7, 2010.
The reference system with trade names and scientific names of wood can be found on the website of the Federal Office of Consumer Affairs BFK.
For ecological reasons, it is very important to us that we obtain the raw material wood from Switzerland or the surrounding countries. Whenever possible, we use Swiss wood as an alternative to European wood. During the offer phase, we will be happy to consider your request to make the staircase from pure Swiss wood.
